• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question Question about Plesk Web Admin SE license

New Pleskian
I got a notification regarding my free Plesk Web Admin SE license permanently expiring in Oct 31. Is it urgent to renew? What do I stand to lose access to if I don't renew? Isn't this just free? Can anyone advise.

Hello, @scottydev. The Web Admin SE license will be discontinued and it will become inactive on the 1st of September (for Vultr). While this will not affect the accessibility of your website, the Plesk panel will no longer be operational.

It's discontinued so we can't renew it? If the Plesk panel won't be operational how else will we be able to access the different things like the backups and other things?

Unfortunately, it will not be possible to renew it. The license type itself is being deprecated. You will need to consider switching to the Plesk Web Pro Edition, Web Host Edition, or Web Admin Edition (if supported by your provider) licenses. Considering that the backup service is powered by Plesk, the same will no longer be operational after the license expiration. You will still have access to the already generated backup copies.
