Reasons why Plesk is so slow

Is there any posible reasons for my plesk installation to be running so slow this days?
Nothing has changed in the server, same ammount of domains, no virus, processor is running at 3%, but plesk is really really slow.

probably defragmentation of hard drive will help?

Plesk is usually a little slower than the other control panels I have used in the past. I think it could be because of the high graphical icons and contents used in the control panel.
