• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Reinstall IIS & Plesk?

Sup all,

Had some problems with the SP1 for 2003 windows
So I had to uninstall it.
Now all sites on Plesk are getting a Service Unavible.
Tried some different ideas on here to get it to work but nothing helped.

So I am left to have to reinstall IIS & Plesk.
Am I going to lose all the sites or will Plesk now that they are there and readd them or just leave them alone on a reinstall?

Thanks for your time,
Dubie

do a backup in plesk first before you reinstall everything.

copy a working backup of the metabase.xml file from c:\windows\system32\inetserv\history (not sure of the path)..and replace the existing one in the inetserv directory. ..make usre you take a backup of the inetserv directory and run the command after cd to c:programfiles\swsoft\plesk\bin directory....the command is

websrvmng --reconfigure-all
