  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Remote Login from Internal Application

Hello all,

I am developing an internal portal that needs to be able to have a simple button to bounce to the Plesk Admin interface.

I know the logins and passwords, but do not want to send those values to the browser to do an intermediate form submit, because then those values can be captured by internal personnel.

Is there a way for me to make an API call to get an authenticated login cookie or something so that I can achieve my goals of not exposing the password in the browser?

The ultimate goal is to be able to have them click a button and open up a browser window that automatically has them logged in to plesk as admin.

Thanks,

Tim
