Hi Folks, If anyone has achieved remote MySQL access on Plesk 7.6 for Windows can you please let me know how its done.
I have allowed MySQL access through the firewall and am able to connect via MySQL Administrator. When my scripts from another server try to access the DB I get the error:
[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver]Unknown MySQL server host 'xx.xx.xx.xx:3306' (11004)
The script server can ping the database server. Looking at the Users and Databases table, this user is set up with a host of % which would suggest its already set up for remote access. Anyone got any pointers?
