I am trying to install Plesk 7 on a windows 2003 server, but it kepts telling me to uninstall MySQL. I unistalled the program, deleted the mySql folder that was left behind, verified the my.ini file was gone, and rebooted.

It still tells me to uninstall MySQL!

How do I get rid of it?

Thanks....

Figured it out.

Had to reinstall mysql then remove the service from the command line:

c:/mysql/bin/mysqld --remove

Once I did that I ran add/remove programs and everything worked fine. Hopefully that helps if someone else has the same issue ;)
