• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Rename a domain

Hello all, using 7.5 on a suse box...

we've been creating a new site under a secret domain on this box, and the site is finally ready to go live. We'd like to bring it live where it is as the box is the most stable and easiest to work with. My question is, is it possible to just rename temporarydomain.com to finaldomain.com? Or is it best to creat finaldomain.com and move the files?

Any other potential pitfalls i havnt thought of?

As far as I know, you cannot rename a domain, need to create a new one and copy files and database (create one new).

You should be able to rename the domain in Domain Administrator, under the relevant domain.

yes you can rename a domein in the "domain user" settings, but it doesn't rename all values, for examples the existing mailboxes are not working with the new name, and even brandnew mailboxes are not working either, any solution for this?

Or is this just bug ?
