  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Rename Domain but DNS exists...

New Pleskian
Hi everyone,

following:
I've had a domain configured in Plesk, let's call her domain.com. Some time ago I renamed it to domain-old.com and added the domain name as alias to a different domain. Today I removed the alias from the other domain and tried to rename domain-old.com to domain.com.
Problem: Plesk tells me that there is a DNS record that already points to domain.com.
When I check the DNS settings in the (still domain-old.com called) folder it shows a lot of entries of course. As soon as I try to delete these or any of these Plesk tells me that they can't be deleted cause this domain has no NS DNS entry.

So I am deadlocked now. Any help, suggestions?
