repair plesk installation

hi

is there any way to repair or reinstall the running plesk-installation on debian 3.1?

today i tried to update plesk from 8.0.1 to 8.1. unfortunately the update didn't work. clicking on the update-button in the webinterface only shows "Warning: Error: Can't create directory //psa/." - no listing of packages or anything else to update or install any more...

Why don't you try to do it manually?
You will see the errors better and you can correct them.
