• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Reseller a/c migration no root access

Hello Guys,

I have been hosting on a Cpanel 10 reseller account for quite long now and would like to migrate to Plesk 7.5reloaded. I am planning to use the Migration Tool for the same purpose. I would like to know, can I migrate from Cpanel 10 to Plesj 7.5 if I don't have root shell access to my previous provider? I do have Shell access but just regulat jailshell access.

Root shell access on the old server is required for the PMM to operate correctly.

I am hosted on a resller package currently and there is no way I can get root access to the current server. I however have access to WHM and Cpanel if that helps....Is there any other way this is possible.
