  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Resource Controller (cgroups) not available in Tools & Settings > Services Management

FreeUserName

New Pleskian
According to:

https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/17.0/a...nd-subscriptions/ram-cpu-disk-io-linux.76540/

In Tools & Settings > Services Management there should be a service called Resource Controller (cgroups) unfortunately that services seems not available.

I installed the Resource Control feature and the output on CLI is:

plesk sbin resctrl --features
{"cpu": true, "cpuacct": true, "memory": true, "blkio": true, "vhosts_blkio": true}

There is no occurence of [resourceController] in panel.ini

So it seems everything is in place. Any ideas why the service is not available?

First of all make sure you have the license allowing you to use this feature. Go to Tools & Settings -> License management page and check "System resource controller" record is present (should be "on").

Thanks Sib. Doesn't show 'System resource controller' at all:

Tip: Plesk recently made cgroups resource manager part of Web Host and Web Pro editions, but if your license is an older license that was converted to Web Host or Web Pro pricing, but is not explicitly called Web Host or Web Pro, you won't get the cgroups manager. You will need to generate a new Web Host/Pro license and switch Plesk over to that.
