  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Restore backup very very slow...

ErwanG

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

After a server crash, i've restore Plesk with backup on FTP.
I've restore all the data and domains but the process take 12 hours for 28 Go !!! too much time !!

In fact, it seems that it's the MySql databases restoring which is very very slow.
The domains with non database or a smal are restore quickly.
I can see the progession with #ll /var/www/vhosts....

Why ? I can not use Plesk backup if the restore process is so slow...

Hello,

Try to check your server process, May be your server is running with high load OR with the high disk IO wait

Hello,

You can monitor your server load, running process and disk IO through top command also I will suggest you check backup Restore log

Restore log: /usr/local/psa/PMM/logs/restore-<datetime>

I've no file or directory "restore...".
Is it created at the end of the restore ? I've break the process before the end (12th hour) and i've finished "manualy".
