• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

New Pleskian
Hi,
Im new with Parallels Plesk Panel
OS:
CentOS 6.6 (Final)
Plesk version:
12.0.18 Update #38 , last updated at Mar 16, 2015 09:25 AM

I want to test run with some polish cloud vps provider and im stuck because of this
"Fatal error: Call to undefined function mcrypt_encrypt() in..."

Ok. i have open SSH connection with Putty and try to install it
http://kb.odin.com/en/118651

But i have this
error: can't create transaction lock on /var/lib/rpm/.rpm.lock (Permission denied)

But epel-release-6-8.noarch.rpm is onboard.
any yum or sudo install commands do nothing...
[admin@vps-xxx ~]$ yum install php-mcrypt
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror
You need to be root to perform this command.
[admin@vps-xxx ~]$

Help me please. How to obtain root privileges? Its possible?
