SB control panel cannot be accessed over the internet ?

Hello people,

I have W2003, Plesk 7.6 and SB 3. I am using the Plesk control panel over the internet (via https-address and via port 8443). I openend up port 2006 on the firewall to access the SB control panel over the internet as well.

Now, when I am in the Plesk control panel, I correctly see the new SB Admin icons. However, when I click on one of them, I can see the necessary page over port 2006 is opened up, but nevertheless I get a "the page cannot be displayed" error after a while.

By the way: all of this works fine whe I am not using this over the internet but directly on the server.

I am pretty sure the port is set open correctly. What else could I be doing wrong ?

Regards,

Mav.

Did you (or anyone else) ever find a solution... This is the last sticking point i need to iron out!

Yep. Windows firewall fixed it for me

Try turning it off to see if thats whats causing your problems.

Now im off to dress up my server n start selling.
