• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Schedule Task Quota & Security

Hi,

I'm new to plesk and was wondering if there is a way to assign quota to Schedule Tasks in Plesk? Is there a way we can limit a user to be able to create on "x" number of schedule tasks?

Secondly, I can see that Plesk does allow running executable file in Schedule Tasks - I am concerned about a user uploading malicious exe file and executing it on server which can be a threat to server. What are the measures taken by Plesk for this?

Lastly, can someone point me on how a user can schedule .aspx page to execute every 10 minutes? More specifically, what will be the parameters for path to executable and arguments?

Thanks in advance!
