    Hi there all,

I have an issue to report. I have plesk 7.1 for windows installed on windows 2003 server and i have a DNS server that is running windows 2000 DNS at some different subnet.

When i try to transfer my domain records to that windows 2000 server to make it work as a secondary (backup) dns server, it cannot get the records from my plesk server.

The records on my plesk server is as follows,

    <domain>. A <ip>
    <domain>. MX (10) mail.<domain>.
    <domain>. NS <my_plesk_server>
    <ip> / 24 PTR <domain>.
    ftp.<domain>. CNAME <domain>.
    mail.<domain>. A <ip>
    mssql.<domain>. A <ip>
    webmail.<domain>. A <ip>

Any help would be appriciated

    www.isc.org/products/BIND/bind9-beta.html

I have found the solution by modifying the bind values and adding my secondary name server to the transfer allowed section in master server section.

    Thank you tughan

    you're welcome tughan :)
