  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Security / AV / Malware Scanning

My question is typically aimed at those companies that run multiple instances of Plesk on multiple servers which host many websites.

What extension or set up are you using for antivirus/malware scanning on your servers?

We've used a combination of all sorts in the past but we'd like to streamline the same across many servers which have Plesk as a control panel interface and most of the extensions seem to be paid if you actually want to gain any benefit from them.

We'd like to scan on schedule and deliver reports to ourselves by email basically. Ideally on a per subscription basis.

I'd be interested to know what others do or any recommendations you may have.

Thanks in advance.
