Server busy with stuff that I uninstalled or maybe never was there

TITLE:
Server busy with stuff that I uninstalled or maybe never was there
PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE:
Please 17.5.3 / Ubuntu 16.04
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
I am using ASSP to protect the mail against spammers, so I have no need for spamassassin.

My server comes pre-installed with Plesk.
I'm not sure, but it's possible it came with the spam assassin module installed.
Anyhow... I de-installed this module if it was there when customising it to my needs.

I have a monitoring system that shows me the result of top every 2 minutes and to my dismay I noticed that the server is busy at night analyzing all the mail.

All this work is for nothing as the result is never getting used.

Can Plesk be more intelligible about its resources?

The same goes for Tomcat for which I have no license. I can see that one showing up from time to time although that one is more modest...

Maybe there are more processes like this (drweb?)

Both spamassassin and Tomcat have a symbolic link in /etc/cron.daily/
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Remove component spamassassin
Check /etc/cron.daily/ and see it's still there
ACTUAL RESULT:
It keeps running each night
EXPECTED RESULT:
Don't take any precious resources if I don't want to use it.

Maybe script can check if the component is enabled...?
ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
YOUR EXPECTATIONS FROM PLESK SERVICE TEAM:
Confirm bug

# rpm -qf /etc/cron.daily/60sa-update
psa-spamassassin-17.5.3-cos7.build1705170317.16.x86_64

as you can see this cron task is a part of psa-spamassassin package. Make sure that you use command like

# rpm -e spamassassin psa-spamassassin

for complete spamassassin uninstallation.

Both spamassassin and Tomcat have a symbolic link in /etc/cron.daily/

Sorry, but no any symlinks here by default:

# ls -la /etc/cron.daily/

I have no psa-spamassassin installed, only spamassassin.
I removed it using "apt-get remove spamassassin"
Hopefully it doesn't break anything.

The "spamassassin" script in /etc/cron.daily/ couldn't have been the culprit. It has "# This task was disabled by psa-spamassassin package\nexit 0" in it.
