Hi Guys (and Gals),

Please bare with me as i'm new to Plesk and fairly new to Linux aswell. I have Plesk 8.1.0 installed on Suse 10.1, and at random times the server goes down and is unreachable (all services) unless it is physically restarted.

Where can i go to check the logs and what logs should i be checking, futhermore, is the issue occuring with anyone else?

Thanks in advance.

I think it's hardware crash, tell your provider to check your hardware.

Hi,

If it is a new server - yes, it is probably hardware issue. but if you have installed applications outside plesk it could be a different problem.
You can check if there are errors in the messages log - /var/log/messages also you can check if the kernel loads with errors with dmesg command. Both can be accessed only via SSH as root and there is no option in the plesk for that.
