• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Plesk usernames and passwords, as well as logging in with a WebPros Account, are not affected.

Server.CreateObject_Failed

Hopefully someone can help with this problem...it seems to pop up regularly.

I've installed aspupload on the server and whenever I try to upload a file via the browser I get this error:

ASP_0177_:_800401f3|Server.CreateObject_Failed 80 - xx.xxx.xxx.xxx

I've run into this problem a number of times with other server components such ANSMTP.

My guess is that the problem is the same each time. It's a permissions issue however I've had no luck fixing it.

What do I need to do to make components such as ansmtp or aspupload work?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Cheers
G.

You need to check Permissions for directory where DLL reside.
for example:

C:\Program Files\Persits Software\AspUpload\Bin

Add the following Permissions:

PSACLN = Read & Execute

hi

go to c:\inetpub\mailroot\pickup folder ntfs permission, remove the deny rights of the user psaadm & psa cln

add the group users & provide read & write permission.

I tried adding Read/Exe but that didn't work. I see both psaadm and psacln have Deny:Write and Deny:Special Permissions which both appear to deny just above everything. Should these be remove or modified?

Thanks for your help.

I take it your referring to the ansmtp problem I'm having? Do you mean add the general group "Users"

thanks!
