• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Question service plan 502 bad gateway

Stephan Griesel

Basic Pleskian
I have been using one subscription for all my domains. Decided to split them into additional subscriptions so I can control the resources. The only problem is when I try to add service plan I get 502 bad gateway error? I suspect the /admin page might not be there because I don't see it in httpdocs folder. Is it possible to recreate this with the plesk repair web command?

This would be rather the "# plesk repair installation" command. The "repair web" command recreates all web server configuration files, but it does not repair missing parts of the panel.

Thank you Peter. Think you mentioned to me previously but running the "# plesk repair installation" command won't change any existing configuration in Plesk , correct?

It won't change existing configurations but maybe the Apache operating mode to "Event" instead of "Prefork". It won't change web configurations.

Apologies for only replying now. I have done the plesk repair installation but I am having the same issue. Please see screenshot below. Any idea what might be causing this?

A lot is missing from the log. It should contain much more, specifically details on the processes that the click initializes. Normally, when adding a service plan or doing anything else, all transactions that are needed for that are logged. But your log only contains a few SQL references.

Please consider to open a support ticket with official Plesk support. I doubt that an analysis through the forum will lead anywhere from here. The error is not clear enough.
