"Session_Exception - Session expired" on login

I seem to be having trouble with my server showing the Default Parallels Plesk Panel Page for all my sites, so I went to log into Plesk and I got this error as soon as it accepted my password:

ERROR: Session_Exception
Session expired

I managed to find only a single reference to this error: http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?288528-Plesk-11-5-Fresh-install-session-error. I followed the instructions there, to no success.

It is caused by incorrect timezones set in MySQL and in the system itself:
Check difference with:

# date

# mysql -uadmin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow` psa

mysql> select now();

Then just restart MySql service. It should help.

Unfortunately, they're both showing the same time. There's a bit of craziness this year with the end of Daylight Savings Time here in Israel (it was supposed to end in September but they passed a law and now it's ending the last week of October like the rest of Europe) , so I assume it's connected to that, but I can't seem to find where the discrepancy is.
