  • Support for BIND DNS has been removed from Plesk for Windows due to security and maintenance risks.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS.

Ok...go easy on me. I leased a dedicated server to put a Shoutcast server on it. It came with Plesk, which I'm trying to learn...I've been using cPanel for a few years and know my way around that control panel purdy darn well.

So we get the stream up and running, and now I want to be able to let Windows Media folks listen to it also. No problem...according the he Shoutcast forums, a simple .asx file does the trick. However, I need to set the new MIME in my server (linux) for the Windows media files. I know where to do it in cPanel...it's just an icon and away you go...but I have been all over my Plesk control panel today searching where I do this. I'm lost for doing this in Plesk, and I'm not to well versed in linux...call me an old noob.

Any help would be mucho appreciated.
