• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Setting up accounts

Hello everybody, I had a server with a H-Sphere controlpanel, simple and straight foreward.
Now I have a new server with Plesk, and I cannot find out what the best way is to setup my user accounts.
On the H-Sphere I had, for example, a M plan with 35Mb disk space for the website, 5 e-mail boxes and 3 MySQL databases.
I understand that I have to work with Templates now, but what is the difference between a Client Template and a Domain Template?
I Thought I had to use the Client templates but then I cannot assign the Harddisk space (for only the website). With the Domain template I can assign Harddisk space but if I want to setup a new account I cannot select a Domian template, I have to use the Client template.
Can anybody explain how to set this up in the right way???
I printed and read all the user guides but did not help me much on this part.
