setting up an iCal server

I am trying to set up an iCal server (read webdav) on an server running Plesk 8.2.1 but have been unable to do anything but get read-only calendars up and running.

I have spoken to the ISP physically hosting the server, but they have no information regarding webdav setups.

I have tried all the webdav post suggestions/methods on both the SWSoft and other sites.

Has anyone actually set up an iCal server for read and write access (SSH/password)?

I am looking for actual verifiable instructions and not anecdotes, hand waving or 'look at this post' replies.

i'd like to install webdav on my plesk linux 8.2 have you obtained information about install or succeeded to install it ?
