I have a domain on one of my shared IP. When I changed my DNS settings (On Yahoo Domains) and pointed the A names to the IP address. It shows me the defult server page when i type the domain name. How do I make sure that it's point to the right directory.

try to update the domains configuration with
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/websrvmng -a -v

Check the resolving of the domain.

Also you can find a hint in the log files - /var/log/httpd/error_log , /var/log/httpd/access_log,
/var/log/messages.

check that physical hosting has been set up on the same IP which is specified in DNS settings. If they mismatch, then Plesk default page will pop out even if those two IPs on the same server.

Having the domain not set up in Plesk or pointing to the wrong IP is usually the cuase of that as ib1984 mentnioned.
