shared ssl problems

we have a weird issue on one of our servers where we have the shared SSL setup and working correctly however a client has enabled sharedSSL on one of their sites and it pops up a login box asking for username and pass at ""

the page then returns the error:

Error: Access is Denied.

their directory isnt password protected so we are at a loss to explain this one

anyone have any ideas?

check permission on that directory. you can do it via plesk. select domain and click check permissions, check it with filemon too. good luck =)
