• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hey Guys,

I have currently have installed Plesk 9.0 on a new server... we currently have a license for 8.6

should i upgrade the license to 9.0?

Is there any major problems with 9.0 that may cause me hassles?

I see that once u upgrade ya license to 9.0 u can't go back.. So i don't wanna be stuck with 9.0 which may have lots of problems ..

Thanks
Ryan

You don't have any choice, plesk 9 will not work on a 8.x license, so you can have 1 domain and 1 email address.

I would upgrade and go to 9 it's pretty well stable now and lots of new features.

If not install 8.6 and remove the 9.

Those your only options.
