Should we be concerned with cases like this ? MySQL ?

No, there's nothing to worry about :)

They just have splitted up MySQL in two editions like you said: community (the normal MySQL like you know him for a long time) and a new (commercial) enterprise edition. The software is the same, the only difference is the fact that you get official MySQL support with the enterprise edition.
Just have a look at the list of differences at this download page ;)

MySQL is a company that develops MySQL together with the opensource community, they have to get money from something.
