Issue Slow + 504 Gateway Time-out

cposol

New Pleskian
Hello,
We have the same problem since approx. 1 week. (Plesk Onyx 17.5.3)
Login is slow, each Plesk page loading is slow (in minutes...) and nginx 504 Gateway Time-out occurs...

Check if you have many web server and PHP processes running that consume a lot of cpu power. E.g.

# ps aux | grep php-fpm
or
# ps aux | grep httpd
or
# ps aux | grep apache2

Also check what the database is doing. Login with
# plesk db
then run
> show processlist;

Do you see many processes with a lot of load?

Hello Peter,

Sometimes, just after a PLESK server restart
service sw-engine restart && service sw-cp-server restart

I get:

ERROR: Plesk\Exception\Database: DB query failed: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1205 Lock wait timeout exceeded; try restarting transaction, query was: DELETE FROM `SessionContexts` WHERE (`sessionId` IN (SELECT `sessions`.`sess_id` FROM `sessions` WHERE (`modified` + `lifetime` < 1613469075)))

Additionally, an exception has occurred while trying to report this error: Zend_Exception
No entry is registered for key 'translate' (Mysql.php:53)
