Issue Slow Update Times: Is It a Server or WordPress Issue?

myra_john

New Pleskian
When I try to update any part of my website, I notice that it doesn't happen right away. I'm wondering if this delay is because of something going on with the server or if it's just how WordPress works. Figuring out what's causing this will help me manage my website better and make sure updates happen smoothly and quickly. Are there settings on the server that might be slowing things down?

Or maybe there are ways to tweak WordPress for faster updates? I want to find the best solution to keep my website running smoothly.

Could be many things, look at the Tools and Settings > Proces List
Maybe many bots visits are slowing down your hosting.

Optimize PHP settings, enable Opcache, Nginx and Redis!

For WordPress i recommend: WordPress Super Cache + Autoptimize for TTFB and Minify CSS, Javascript and HTML
Also load Google Fonts locally (OMGF plugin) and convert images to Webp (WebP Express plugin).
For Redis us the Redis Object Cache Wordpress plugin!
To speed up things more i use the "PWA for WP & AMP" WordPress plugin.
