• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

SMTP Authentication - Very Basic feature that Plesk mailing system doesnt implement

Regular Pleskian
I have done some investigation regarding Plesk Control Panel.
Plesk is sending emails when domain user or client user reach their limits.
I have found that Plesk doesn't make SMTP Authentication and because of that
the email server application must configured as open relay for localhost requests.
this is totaly a joke for such low programming level.
Plesk Developers , thinks forward , think out of the box which problems can occur.
because of that SWsoft must release a patch file for all Plesk versions regarding
SMTP Authentication. the Plesk mailer code must make SMTP Authentication and even
SMTP properties must be configured.

this issue exist in Plesk Control Panel for Windows Since Version 7.5 up to Version 9.2
