SMTP Authentication

Dear,

I have a question regarding the SMTP authentication methods within Plesk (7.5.4) on a fresh installation of CentOS 4.2.

A customer receives the following error message when sending e-mails, me on the other can send e-mails from this server and everything is working fine.

Folgende Empfänger konnten nicht erreicht werden:
'[email protected]' am 29.01.2006 20:50
553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)

Now I find this somehow odd since I have enabled authentication is required and smtp checked.
In Outlook (2003) is 'my server requires authentication' enabled and all three options have been tried. No change in error MSG.

When I check POP3 with a lock time of 3mins this customer can send e-mails and everything is working fine.

Does someone have an idea why he can't send e-mail when POP3 isn't checked? (Does POP3 mean pop3 before SMTP?)

Thanks a lot!
