Resolved smtp hostname problem, urgent

Hello together!

After a migration to a new plesk server it is no longer possible to use the same hostname on the outgoing SMTP server as on the incoming server (imap/pop).

if you enter the hostname of the machine itself as smtp server instead, it works.

imap and pop works under the hostname. SMTP (postix), not.
If you enter the hostname of the machine as SMTP server it works.

The problem is that there are about 400 mailboxes now which have the name [email protected] entered as the outgoing mail server.

Before migration it works fine. imap/pop as well as smtp had the same hostname.

An idea, urgent...

Ron

Hi, the hostname is the same as before. Only the IP has changed.

DNS entries have been made accordingly.

The problem is that an imap and POP works, but SMTP does not.

The hostname is the plesk machine itself is e.g. , "x123.foo.de".

imap smtp "mail.foo.de"

imap works, smtp not under "mail.foo.de", under "x123.foo.de" smtp works.
