• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

So is it safe or what

I am running PLesk 7.03 and I have heard all kinds of horror stories, and I was wondering if it was safe to upgrade now or should I wait a little longer? Thank in advance.

Wait until SW-Soft releases an update to Plesk 7.5 so that the migration tool functions properly.

Upgrade not yet available

I just tried to upgrade my test server.

Looks like the latest download file does not let you perform an upgrade. You have to backup and remove your old installation then install 7.5 fresh and restore from backup. SW-soft must have done this to prevent anyone just upgrading a live system without testing first.

I'm ready to do the upgrade on my test server as soon as it's released. I'll let you know how I go when it comes out.
