Spam Assassin

Hi All

I've just taken a dedicated server with 1and1. I've moved one site onto the server so far but I'm having problems with spam assassin. Everything is switched on and looks fine. However, nothing is being marked as SPAM. I've dropped the tolerance to 3 on the e-mail accounts but it's made no difference.

If I look at the headers for an e-mail there is no mention of the spam score in there. On another server running Plesk and spam assassin I can see this:

With the server that has problems there is nothing at all like this in the headers.

Is there anything I can check?

Try to re-enable spamfilter for this mailbox with /usr/local/psa/bin/mail utility with -manage-spamfilter option and rebuild mail settings with

/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mchk --with-spam

After that read Plesk documentation about tuning spamassassin. I hope it will help.

Thanks for that. I've literally just fixed it. It was much simpler. SPAMASSASSIN wasn't actually started under the services section. I think I spent too long thinking it was going to be complicated and never thought to start with the simple solutions first
