Spam Blacklist

Its pointless having so many different methods of blacklisting and all so time consuming.

Currently we are blacklisting the spam in webmail, then we are individually blacklisting domain addresses in Plesk /Mail/Blacklist

Surely it would be more logical if Plesk added the domain name, not email address, but the domain to Blacklist when all its users blacklisted their spam in webmail?

The admin then would only have to go through and put the good ones in the Whitelist. Currently the system the way it is takes roughly 12 hours per week. Its endless with over 5k of spam every single day.

It would also be good to blacklist mime types. I doubt we will ever be able to block country specific emails, but we could definately blacklist entire mime types?

.com.br
.com.jp
.biz / .info
.co.ru
.com.ca
.co.uk

This is only a couple, but seriously get hammered by these.

I believe that the blacklist is compared or checked against the return path in each email.

Why is not checked in the entire header / message?

I get the same email, containing the same domain/address and have placed everything in the header / message in the blacklist and still receive the same email from a spoofed address 2 minutes later.

SPF is not working that well, in my opinion they have alread worked their way around this. We are banning perfectly legitimate domains to reduce spam.... spending hours on hours every week. It has nearly become a full time job for a person.

It would be make more sense to stop serving email and only do the hosting. It has been a long time problem and its getting worse every single day...

Please concentrate on some of these measures. Something really needs to be done, I am and lots of other people are at their wits end with spam problems, spoofing emails, and the never-ending email telling me to stay hard for hours and satisfy my wife.... I probably could if I didn't have to blacklist domain names all the time.
