Spam Filter disabled for account

There is a mail account which always has the SpamAssassin button disabled. No matter what I do the links to change the SpamAssassin status always remain disabled.

Has anyone come across this before?

Could there be an entry at the database level which disables it and can be used to enable it?

The most common cause is not having a mailbox created for that address. Make sure the checkbox is clicked ;)

I was actually able to work it out.

It appears in the Mailbox page for the user, under the quota box as Enable spam filtering
