Spamassain

I'm in the process of switching hosting provider from 1&1 to RedStation. The newly acquired server is running plesk 9.3.0 but doesn't have spam assassin enabled due to: (Not supported by the license key) however my 1&1 server which i've upgraded along the years has 9.0.0 running with spam assassin working.

my questions is : have the license keys change so i now have to purchase spamassain for the new server or am i missing something?

Did you contacted with your sales representative regarding this question? Much more effectively to contact with all license, money, etc. questions with your sales representative...

thanks for the quick reply - yes i did, they pointed me in the direction of these forums...

Did you tried to install license with spamassassin from 1&1 server to new server? As I remember it should works fine. But if you can't now run one license on both server during migration procedure, you should ask your sales about temp license with spamassassin, install it to new server, perform migration and ten move license from old to new server.

Spamassain Status

I updraded from Plesk 8.2.2 to 9.3.0 today. Once that was done, the pages does not load properly with all the icons in firefox. They are displayed better ( not fully ) using IE.
On the service management screen, I see spamAssassin BUT -

The 1st round button with an arrow is 'grayed' ( not green ) out. Scrolling mouse over it says 'SpamAssassin is running'
The last 2 buttons also shows grayed out. Scrolling on those buttons says the feature is not available due to license.

Server component page says it's installed - spamassassin 3.1.4-1.fc6 , also, ps aux| grep spam - > shows spamassassin running.
