spamassasin license with or without

Hello All,

The normale plesk license gets shipped with spam assasin but an customer complaint spamassasin isn't working and now wants the Power Pack installed.

Can somebody please explain me the difference in functionality regarding spamassasin with or without PowerPack? Because in the spamassasin logs i can't detect any difference with or without PowerPack license regarding SpamAssasin? It seems to be working without the PowerPack anyway?
