Hey,
Can someone here tell me how SpamAssassin is invoked by Qmail?
The reason I ask is because SA analyzes messages that I send over localhost to local users. I see this in my mail logs:
Jun 7 17:15:47 arctic spamd[41308]: got connection over /tmp/spamd_full.sock
Jun 7 17:15:47 arctic spamd[44991]: Using default config for [email protected]: /usr/local/psa/qmail/mailnames/mydomain.com/user_prefs
Jun 7 17:15:47 arctic spamd[44991]: processing message
Ok so thats normal. However when I send an email from outside the system to a local user, SA does not analyze the message.
I've read that in order for SA to work with Qmail we need qmail-scanner. I don't see that in my /usr/local/psa/qmail/bin directory. Does anyone else have this binary who uses FreeBSD?
