• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

SpamAssassin and Leftover Files

I have over 350,000 files in C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk\admin\db - totalling over 40GB. from what I've seen, most/all are .spamassassin_____tmp files (____ is numbers/letters).

Can anyone tell me what these are (I assume the copies spamassassin makes while scanning) and why they're stuck? Also, are they safe to delete? This is a Windows 2003 Server environment, no file-level antivirus and the indexing service was stopped post-windows install.

Thanks in advance!

PS. Plesk reports that it's using Spamassassin 3.2.3, the Spamassassin web site reports that 3.3 has just been released.

Which version will fix this problem?
