  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Spamassassin does not check mails larger than 250 KB in size

nforde

Basic Pleskian
I want to increase the limit from 250KB to 500KB so Spam Assassin doesn't miss the spams that are in the 250-500KB range (currently a lot of image spam).

The following Plesk knowledgebase article explains how to do it HOWEVER it's outdated.

http://kb.odin.com/en/945

I have no 'psa-spamc' file on my server at all. I'm using Plesk 9.0.0.2.

Does anyone know how to do it, or can someone update that knowledgebase article?

which mailer postfix or qmail?

if qmail you can try the following here the example with 256kb and restart qmail:
echo 2621440 /var/qmail/control/samsgsize

and no i didnt check mails >256kb because i use postfix and there i have now more options for spam checks before the mails pass to spamassassin...

Brujo

Unfortunately that didn't make any difference. I assume that is only a setting for H-Sphere, not Plesk.

Anyone got any suggestions? Plesk staff!?!?

So I'm the only person using Plesk who wants spam assassin to scan emails larger than 250KB!?!?

Parallels - can you PLEASE update the KB article at http://kb.odin.com/en/945 OR provide a solution OR tell me if it's not possible using Plesk/Qmail.
