  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Spamassassin doesnt delete spam mails anymore

Hello.

Some of our customers complaining about to much spam mails in their mailboxes (subject: *****SPAM*****).
The spamassassin works good on detecting spam mails, but it doesnt delete the mails - marked as spam - anymore.
I already tried to disable and reenable the delete-feature, but no change.
I found a tip here: http://www.pleskforge.net/index.php/Plesk_9_Bug_tracker
It recommends to rebuild the email account configuration, but that doesnt work for me too.

Any solutions?

Here are the common recommendations which can help you to eliminate spam attack like using MAPS zones, spamassassin, blacklists, rejecting emails for non-existing users, update Plesk to the latest version and configure SPF technology, etc. The following articles are devoted to troubleshooting spam and known issues with spamassassin:

Same problem here with opensuse 11.0 and plesk panel 9.0.1.
