Spamassassin is not working in newly installed Plesk8

Hi Guys,


Good day!

I have just installed Plesk8 in RedHat Enterprise 4. The installation went fine. The spamassassin daemon is running but I've noticed that in the Panel the SpamAssassin Icon is grayed.

The question is why does the SpamAssassin is not supported by the license key?

Help is very much appreciated.

There are two installs of Spamassassin on a Plesk box. The spamassassin icon is run from PSA-Spamassassin. If your license key supports it, go to your <Updater> and install psa-spamassassin, then the icon will be accessible.

Thanks for your reply. Yes i did install these two; spamassassin-3.0.5-3.el4 and psa-spamassassin-8.0.1-rhel4.build80060613.20 , if you were referring to these two installations. I also have the spamassassin service already started yet the icon in the Panel is still grayed. Actually I have three 3 licenses for unlimited domains. All three have problems with spamassassin.

Further help is greatly appreciated.
