Spamassassin not scanning e-mail

Recently added the Spamassassin license to Plesk.

spamd is running, I can also see its entries in the maillog when it is started.
Tried both PostFix and Qmail.
The license is up to date and SpamAssassin is turned on in the server mail settings, without per-user settings.

Tried uninstalling psa-spamassassin and re-installing via the updater.
Tried uninstalling qmail AND PostFix then re-installing via the autoinstaller.

Any ideas?
 
SpamAssassin never works for me either. If I turned it on all email just stops.
