• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Windows Plesk V 8.3 and 8.2

In control panel, I go to domain name/mail/mailuser/spamfilter/training. Once there, I cannot see any little icons on the left hand column next to the checkbox. I can check the box next to the particular email, click the "It's Spam!" or "It's Not Spam" link, but I cannot tell how it gets flagged because the icons do not show up.

I have Plesk 8.2 and 8.3 running on two totally differnet servers and I get the same thing on both.

Thanks in advance,

Todd

Parallels Reponse

I receieved a response from Parallels:

The icons which indicate that the message is added to Spamassassin database are implemented only in Plesk for Unix, which is documented.

Plesk for Windows does not have such feature currently, documentation will be corrected in future Plesk releases, most probably, Plesk 9.2 will have it corrected.

I have also forwarded feature request about implementing the functionality in Plesk for Windows. It will be considered to be implemented in future Plesk versions.

-------------------------------------------------------

I'm not sure if this means that the function does not work at all .. .meaning that you cannot train using SpamAssassin on Windows versions? Not sure if the names are being added to the SA database . . .
