  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

SSL / CGI Quirk - No Lock Icon when running the CGI Scripts

I created a hosting account in plesk with support for SSL, using a single directory for housing SSL and non-SSL content and cgi support. I have a store software that uses cgi. So it puts everything into the cgi-bin and then the site files into httpdocs and not httpsdocs due to the single directory setting. When I go to the site, the normal html pages show the ssl lock in the browser but when I got to the cgi pages, the lock dissappears, but is still active, the https is still there and when you click on where the lock is supposed to be, the cert shows up. Is this a problem with my plesk setup or the ssl?
