• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Question SSL connection to docker containers

Dominik_

New Pleskian
I can't really figure out how to set up a reverse proxy that does the ssl stuff for my docker container; or something similar with the same effect.

I have a domain, secured with an ssl certificate and tried to add a 'docker proxy rule', set the ports but it's the same as before. I'm really clueless here but I can't find corresponding settings to begin with.

Did you ever figure out a solution? I'm struggling to set up YaCy search engine (via Docker extension on Plesk). I've done everything on the YaCy side, the only hurdle is my inability to access https://host.[my-domain.com]:32770/ without getting an SSL certificate warning through the browser. I've tried everything possible, including add new rule under Docker Proxy Rules, nginx proxy pass, subdomain and adding a "ROOT_URL" variable pointing to the subdomain. Nothing changes. I can only access my YaCy application via unsecured http://... which doesn't help for my purpose.
