SSL Problems for Newbie

We have Plesk 6.5 for Windows and just purchased an SSL cert from verisign however when I installed it and try to access the httpS://www.domain.com it asks me for a user name and password. What am I doing wrong? Is there something else I have to do? I did copy over all of the files from my httpdocs directory to my httpSdocs directory.
